The MS will initially be based in the ADG Laboratory (ABO/RhD typing, extended antigen typing and antibody screening) but will also be required to rotate between the NAT laboratory (screening for viral RNA and DNA) and Virology (Serology, screening for viral antibodies) laboratories. The Medical Scientist will facilitate the screening of donor samples to meet strict deadlines to ensure a safe and efficient blood supply.
