Key deliverables: (not limited to)
- Lead rail civils engineering activities across allocated projects, ensuring safe, sustainable, and cost‑effective outcomes.
- Oversee internal teams, contractors, designers, and specialist personnel to ensure appropriate competency and high‑quality delivery.
- Manage design and construction elements in line with relevant legislation, including CDM and CSM‑RA regulations.
- Provide expert advice on construction activities, testing, commissioning, and site supervision.
- Monitor performance of design partners, specialist consultants, and contractors.
- Support the development of innovative engineering solutions and best‑practice sharing across project teams.
- Collaborate with UK and wider global teams to support integrated delivery and cross‑regional rail civils projects.
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent relevant experience
- Rail, civils or relevant engineering experience
- Chartered member of an engineering discipline
- Experience in people leadership and client‑facing delivery roles
- Strong understanding of Irish Rail civil engineering standards and codes
- Competency in CDM, CSM‑RA, engineering management, risk assessment
- Experience of rail civils project development, approval processes, and deliverables
