Overview As Store Manager of The Cosmetics Company Store at Kildare Village, you will lead an exciting, fast-paced beauty destination representing a portfolio of world-renowned Estée Lauder brands. You will be the driving force behind the store’s commercial success, inspiring a passionate team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while creating a vibrant, engaging and premium environment. Combining strong commercial leadership with a genuine passion for beauty, people and innovation, you will have the opportunity to shape the store’s identity, unlock its potential and make it a destination customers love to visit. They are accountable for achieving this by; recruiting, leading, coaching and developing the management team to consistently deliver Brand expectations on sales and service, operations and product, ensuring the Brand image is reflected and protected through Brand standards and commercial decision making. Responsibilities Sales & Customer Experience Own the overall sales and service performance of the store, setting ambitious targets and KPIs and ensuring these are clearly communicated across the team. Use commercial reporting, customer insight and performance data to identify opportunities, address challenges and drive sales performance. Lead a customer-first culture, ensuring consistently exceptional, personalised service and a memorable customer journey. Continually raise service standards, creating a surprise and delight culture and a mindset focused on exceeding customer expectations. Lead the team to maximise all sales channels and customer opportunities, including events, activations, omni-channel, digital and social media. Develop and deliver a local marketing and events strategy in partnership with the management team and wider business. Stay connected to beauty trends, competitor activity, customer behaviour and market opportunities, translating insight into action. Partner with Education teams to ensure exceptional product knowledge, selling capability and brand expertise across the team. Ensure customer feedback, complaints and refunds are managed effectively, protecting both the customer relationship and brand reputation. Build initiatives that support customer recruitment, engagement and long-term loyalty. Team Management & Leadership Inspire, lead and develop a high-performing management and retail team, creating a culture of energy, engagement and accountability. Own the recruitment, induction, development and retention of exceptional talent. Build a strong leadership culture within the management team, ensuring coaching and development are consistently cascaded throughout the store. Set clear expectations and conduct regular performance reviews, recognising achievement and addressing development needs effectively. Identify talent, capability and succession opportunities, developing future leaders within the business. Identify skills gaps and ensure appropriate training, coaching and development are delivered. Manage staffing deployment and rota planning to ensure the store is appropriately resourced to deliver service and commercial expectations. Lead by example as a Brand Ambassador, bringing our brand values and culture to life every day. Create an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing environment where colleagues feel valued, motivated and empowered. Ensure attendance, conduct, performance and people matters are managed fairly and in line with company policies and procedures. Operations & Store Excellence Own the day-to-day operational performance of the store, ensuring consistently high standards across people, product, presentation and process. Ensure the store is ready for business every day, with opening and closing procedures, administration and operational routines completed to the required standard. Maintain exceptional standards of visual presentation, displays, product messaging and pricing, ensuring the store reflects our premium brand portfolio. Oversee stock management, replenishment, deliveries and stock movements, ensuring availability and minimising lost sales. Ensure robust processes are in place to minimise stock loss, protect company assets and maintain strong security standards. Ensure all company policies, procedures, audits and compliance requirements are understood and consistently delivered. Champion Health & Safety, creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues. Manage local suppliers, contractors and maintenance requirements to ensure the premises remain safe, functional and beautifully presented. Ensure all required information, reporting and administration is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Continuously challenge existing ways of working, identifying innovative solutions that improve efficiency, standards and the customer experience. Commerciality & Brand Growth Take ownership of the store’s commercial strategy and performance, using data and insight to maximise sales and profitability. Translate wider Brand Strategy into a compelling local plan, ensuring activity is relevant to the Kildare Village customer and trading environment. Lead the effective execution of promotions, discounts, campaigns and commercial initiatives, maximising their impact. Ensure visual merchandising layouts are planned, executed and maintained in line with brand guidelines and commercial objectives. Identify stock and product performance opportunities, working proactively to maximise availability, sell-through and sales potential. Respond quickly to changing business trends and external factors, recommending actions that create new commercial opportunities. Empower the team to identify trends, share customer insight and make recommendations that enhance product and category performance. Ensure the entire retail environment — from windows and displays to customer touchpoints and surrounding areas — reflects and elevates the brand. Work collaboratively with the wider business and brand partners to unlock opportunities, strengthen performance and grow the customer base. Qualifications Person Specification Essential Management experience in retail and/or fast-paced consumer facing environment IT skills essential including Excel, Word & PP presentations People management and leadership experience. Proven ability to drive sales performance through KPIS, commercial insight and team engagement. Confident and inspirational leader with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a diverse team. Strong commercial acumen in a fast-paced service led environment and knowledge of industry. Effective communication, organisational, prioritisation and delegation skills. Eligible to live and work in the EU. Experience within beauty , cosmetics, fashion luxury or premium retail would be advantageous. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
