STAFF NURSES – IMPORTANT NOTICE
Applications are invited for : SENIOR ENHANCED STAFF NURSE
If you have at least 17 years of post-qualification nursing service, you may be eligible for the Senior Staff Nurse / Senior Enhanced Staff Nurse Increment.
This is in line with HSE HR Circular 021/2019 – Implementation of Allowance Change arising from:
1. Labour Court Recommendations 21900 and 21901
2. Recommendations of the Public Service Pay Commission
Since 1st November 2019, the qualifying service requirement has been reduced from 20 years to 17 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- All nurses with 17 years post-qualification nursing service are eligible.
- All service counts, including part-time and job-sharing.
- Service includes all genuine nursing experience in Ireland and abroad.
- The reference date for verification of service and payment is 5th November each year.
Please add the below in your CV, if applicable:
- Evidence of participation in audit and evaluation of care provision including collection of quality care metrics where same are in place.
- Documented competencies including care competencies in relation to patient case load.
- Evidence of skill acquisition from ‘on the job’ learning.
- Certified skills training – including as a minimum mandatory training - relevant to care required for patient case load.
