Main Purpose
The primary focusof the role is to ensure complete, accurate and timely closing of the monthly and quarterly books for US and India entities and successful completion of external audits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, month-end management accounts preparation for US and India entities, financial reporting and assistance with statutory audits, payroll management for US and India entities, management of accounts payable, accounts receivable and VAT filings and assistance with credit control. This role will also require support to be provided, as needed, for various operational initiatives.Responsibilities
Responsibilities:- Preparing monthly management packs for US and India entities including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, accounts reconciliations, P&L analytics and other information requested by the Group Finance team.
- Reviewing and assisting in the work performed by the US and India accountant and AP assistants, including:
- Bank reconciliations;
- Vendor & supplier reconciliations;
- Intercompany accounts reconciliations
- Preparations of VAT returns etc.
- Review of rolling 13 week cash flow forecast for US and India entities.
- Perform monthly budget reviews with assigned budget holders & report on budget variances to group finance
- Manage India and US Payroll on a monthly/bi-monthly basis, ensuring Payroll is processed on time with no errors
- Ensure local tax filings for US and India entities are completed by statutory deadlines
- Assistance with credit control processes.
- Adhering to the RCF framework established and identifying areas for improvement.
- Analysis of variances from budget each month.
- Drafting the statutory financial accounts and supporting schedules for India entities.
- Liaising with the companyâs auditorâs to ensure timely completion of the Group audit and local India audits.
- Liaising with the companyâs tax advisors to ensure quarterly provisioning is completed on a timely basis.
- Providing support to other areas of the business (i.e. operations, marketing, sales) where needed with regards to financial aspects of these divisions.
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA â preferably Big 4/Top 10 trained
- Experience post qualification preferred
- Strong technical skills and experience
- Highly organized and efficient person
- Self-driven and assertive with excellent stakeholder management skills
