Purpose Scope of the Role A Tetra Tech company is delivering a significant portfolio of built environment projects most notably in the Healthcare, Education, Housing and Critical infrastructure. We are appointed to deliver a number of major projects for clients including: Health Service Executive on Major Capital Frameworks and Department of Education Large Scale Capital Works Programmes delivering new school projects. These projects are of critical importance in delivering essential healthcare and education capacity both regionally and nationally and are among the largest capital projects planned for delivery in the State. We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 7+ years’ experience to join our growing structural engineering teams based in Dublin, Cork and Galway. The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in the design and delivery of structural engineering services across a broad and interesting range of projects. We deliver a full range of end-to-end services including using the latest technologies and modelling tools. Core Capabilities 7+ years’ experience working as a structural engineer on a broad range of developments Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe. Ability to develop and nurture relationships with colleagues, Design Team members, Clients and Contractors. Solid technical and analytical skills with demonstrable problem-solving abilities. Experience attending site and carrying out inspections in accordance with BCAR is desirable. Good IT skills and experience with structural analysis packages (such as Master series, Tedd’s, Robot, etc.); Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent time management skills. Interested in continuous professional development and learning. Full drivers licence desirable and valid work permit to work in Ireland.
