Position: Industrial Fitter
Location: Dublin (with potential site requirements)

Role Overview

The Industrial Fitter will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment across our facilities. This role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and continuous improvement of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Inspect mechanical equipment to identify faults, wear, and potential failures
• Repair and replace worn or damaged components
• Assemble, install, and test new mechanical systems and equipment
• Fabricate parts and components where required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Diagnose faults across a range of plant machinery, including shredders, crushers, balers, and conveyor systems
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety procedures and regulations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
• Participate in shift work, including availability for night shifts

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar industrial or plant maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Proven fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Remuneration

Competitive rates of pay, dependent on experience
