Lecturer (Below the Bar) in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (0.5 FTE), School of Medicine

 

UCC wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Lecturer in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (0.5FTE).  Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will play a key role in teaching, research and leadership. The successful candidate will support the delivery of the 2-year MSc in Diagnostic Radiography and the MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Science online. The successful candidate will hold a BSc or MSc in Diagnostic Radiography or a related discipline, and ideally possess a PhD or equivalent. Duties will include research-led classroom and on-line teaching, examining, development of new course offerings. We expect to recruit hardworking people committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and research dissemination. The role is in-person, primarily based in University College Cork, Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, Cork.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale: €43,028 - €73,909 (Scale B) / €45,116 - €70,327 (Scale A) (pro-rata).
