Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Clinical Research Operations Manager within the School of Medicine, based at St Vincent’s University Hospital
The Cancer Trials Operations Manager provides operational leadership for the cancer clinical trials portfolio at the St Vincent’s UCD Cancer Centre, a partnership between St Vincent’s Hospital Group (SVHG) and UCD. The post holder is responsible for the day-to-day management of the unit’s operations, finances, data management, and regulatory support functions, ensuring that trials are set up, delivered and closed out to ICH-GCP standards and in line with sponsor, HPRA and research ethics committee requirements.
Reporting to the Cancer Centre’s Director of Clinical Research, the post holder works with a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor trial accrual and quality KPIs, manage unit budgets and sponsor contracts, and drive the strategic growth of the trials portfolio in line with the Centre’s ambitions for national and international trial partnerships.
This post is based within the UCD School of Medicine and St Vincent’s UCD Cancer Centre, established to deliver an expanding portfolio of academic and industry-sponsored cancer clinical trials.
Salary Range: €83,912 - €101,207 per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
