Role Profile
Reporting to the Head of Curriculum Management Service (CMS), the Senior Data Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of operational reporting services supporting the student lifecycle across Admissions, Registration, Curriculum Management, Examinations, Progression, and Graduation.
The role provides advanced technical expertise within the Operational Reporting function, ensuring the delivery of accurate, reliable, secure, and timely reporting solutions through ARGOS, SQL, Power BI, and related reporting platforms. The post holder will input and support reporting development standards, quality assurance processes, data governance practices, and capability development within the team while supporting the delivery of strategic reporting improvements and reporting modernisation initiatives.
Working within a small team, the Senior Data Analyst will translate business requirements into robust reporting solutions, provide technical oversight across all reporting activities, and ensure operational continuity through knowledge sharing and documentation.
The Head of Curriculum Management Service reports to the Senior Director of Academic Governance, Operations and Systems, OVPAA.

Salary Scale:
Professional 5A: €60,580 - €81,922
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
