About the Role:

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to add to our growing BIM team in Dublin or Limerick! As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the BIM models during Design, Construction and handover. This includes BIM project setup, model creation, asset information implementation, sustaining model quality and audit checks as well as clash detection and coordination.

You will have the support of BIM Leads on the implementation of projects requirements for High Voltage/Substation BIM projects according to the ISO 19650 series. You will be actively promoting and assisting in BIM procedure and workflow creation that are to be used within H&MV BIM department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the successful creation of BEPs and delivery of client information requirements.
• Oversee and drive the setup of the BIM project environment.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM Project Execution Plans.
• Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure quality.
• Facilitate periodic BIM model coordination.
• Create BIM content and ensure quality control of content produced by others.
• Provide support for general modeling, BIM model creation, updates, and corrections.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM standards and workflows.
• Train, support, and supervise Revit users, ensuring adherence to BIM standards in model creation.
• Conduct internal training sessions and provide ongoing BIM-related support to staff.
• Educate the different teams and departments within the company on technical best practices related to BIM.
• Coordinate regular calls with engineers and stakeholders to discuss project BIM progress, align on technical details, and address any challenges.
• Participate in meetings with clients to confirm BIM requirements and actively follow the development and implementation of BIM processes across project stages, ensuring all parties are informed and project objectives are met.

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Architecture).
• Proficient in English at a pre-advanced level (CEF level C1).
• Desirable 4-5 years experience in BIM Projects according to the ISO19650 series.
• Experienced user of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC/Forma, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong Revit modeling skills required; experience with other BIM software is a plus.
• Deep understanding of technical concepts and principles in 3D modeling, with moderate expertise in model management.
• Familiar with ISO 19650-1/2 standards.
• Possesses strong analytical, assessment, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to foster effective teamwork.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
