We are seeking motivated individuals with good availability throughout the summer season to join our Ecology team on a zero-hours basis. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals including survey leads, bat specialists, ornithologists, botanists, and protected species experts, contributing to meaningful environmental work.

As a Seasonal Ecologist, you will:
- Support ecological teams on a variety of infrastructure and environmental projects across Ireland
- Assist with field surveys, data collection, and monitoring activities
- Contribute to survey planning and logistics
- Produce high-quality ecological data and deliverables
- Assist with technical reporting
- A degree in ecology or a related discipline
- Motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic about a career in ecology
- Eligible or working towards CIEEM membership
- Organised and dependable, with strong time management skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team and in the field
- Willing to travel and stay away from home (up to 4 nights per week during peak survey periods)
- Previous experience in ecological surveys or fieldwork
- Experience or interest in bat or ornithology surveys (highly valued)
- A full driving licence
