Post Summary: The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking a highly experienced finance leader in the role of Head of Finance, providing strategic leadership and oversight of the School’s financial operations and development, along with it’s research finance operations. This includes the annual core budgeting and forecasting process, research funding, self-financing and commercial activities, and long term financial planning and financial oversight of strategic and capital projects . As the School undergoes strategic growth and development, the Head of Finance will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, shaping financial strategy, informing investment decisions, and ensuring the effective management of resources.
The Head of Finance will play a key leadership role in delivering the School’s Development Plan and achieving its ambitious financial and strategic objectives. As the School enters a significant new phase of growth and development, strong financial leadership will be critical in supporting sustainable expansion, investment, and long-term success.
Post status: Permanent Contract
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€71,651 - €92,692 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
