Role Profile
The Careers Service is hiring a Careers Consultant for International Students. We are seeking a proactive, student-centred professional to enhance international student employability, driving positive graduate outcomes within the global labour market. The International Careers Consultant will design and deliver tailored initiatives for international cohorts from undergraduate to Postgraduate Taught (PGT) and Postgraduate Research (PGR) international students enabling effective career planning and professional progression within the Irish and global labour markets.
The International Careers Consultant will design and provide specialist employability advice and guidance to international students. They will deliver customised support tailored to the needs of an increasingly diverse and mobile international population. The post holder will coach and empower students and graduates through the development of resources, workshops, and curriculum-based teaching, while providing opportunities for students and employers to network. The post holder will assist international students in transitioning to the workplace, whether they choose to launch their career in Ireland, return to their home country, or relocate to another global region.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative professional with a passion for student success. You will join a team within the Careers Service committed to bridging the gap between education and employment, ensuring international students have the tools, skills, and networks to thrive in the modern labour market. This role is multi-campus based and reports to the Head of the Careers Service.

Salary Scale: Professional 5A - €59,980 - €81,111
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
