Role Profile
The Research Infrastructure Unit is seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Technical Officer or Senior Technical Officer to oversee and operate our multi-platform mass spectrometry core facility. Reporting to the RIU Chief Technical Officer, the successful candidate will join the current technical support team and will have specific responsibilities for certain research infrastructure as well as more generic technical duties supporting day to day research activities. This person will also be responsible for the continued development and implementation of the equipment quality systems for facilities associated with DCU’s priority research areas.

Salary Scale: Technical Officer / Senior Technical Officer - €42,153- €74,920
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
